STYMPHALIAN

The Stymphalian Trilogy No.1

Stymphalian birds originate from Greek mythology. They were pets to Ares, the God of War.

They feed on ambrosia and nectar like gods do. They have beaks made of bronze, iron claws and toxic dung. Those Stymphalians that were not killed by Hercules fled Greece and never returned. Were they monstrous or misunderstood? Were they groomed, forced to kill and left with no choice but to leave their home? Similar to children soldiers and refugees perhaps?
